This piece is formulated by using the predictive text option of the IOS 13.2.3 software on an iPhone as a tool of creation. Predictive text is a text input technology used in mobile devices. It works by creating a memory of the content that is typed out on the phone to adapt to each user. Poems that belong to the last 7 books awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry are transcribed into the mobile. Before each entry the keyboard memory is reset so it will only make suggestions based on a specific poem. The result is new poems created with the words predicted by the algorithm. A screen capture while making the poems is shown accompanied by the books used to generate them.
